Just sending a wee picture off to my PenPal in Japan since I don't have any photos with me... Was going to be a nurse or something, then I decided that I was in the mood for frills after looking in  's gallery XD Pose is absolute crap, her legs actually made the pose semi interesting, but it didn't occure to me that her legs would be entirley covered with the skirts >_< Face also sucks, turned out a lot more oriental than I'd wanted, and it's lop-sided. Originally it was going to be Issabelle... you can see the remains in the long fringe spikes and insanely long pigtails... I am pretty happy with the design overall, not a fan of the chest below the frill, but everything else Sai approves of. I deliberatly didn't look at my other lolita-ish dress design (A definition of lolita is still something I'm not too certain on...) [link] while drawing this so I wouldn't be influenced by it... Reckon this design is superior. (Except for Issabelle's chest in Care to Dance... frickin' love that! XD) Quality on this scan is pretty bad, college scanners are horrible and I have no Photoshop or anything to tweak the contrast or anything on. Will fix that on the weekend. Also wish I hadn't put that blue in the background... EDIT: Fixed the image a wee bit now that I'm back in Photoshop's embrace. Um, yar, blah dee blah blah. Time Taken: Pencils -3-4hours (was watching Stargate and Star Trek and various cartoons at the time... XD) Inks -2hours Colours -20minutes |
